👋🏻 Jacob here.
Too many executives wait for permission and miss opportunity.
Write this on a sticky:
It’s better to beg forgiveness than to ask for permission.
Execs: Outstanding leadership requires confidence and commitment. You cannot wait for others’ validation to pursue your goals.
Trust your experience and stand firm in your convictions.
This week, I challenge you to:
Be bold, take initiative, and be assertive.
Boldness: Be bold but open to changing your mind when presented with new information.
Initiative: Initiate dialogue, demonstrate knowledge, and address concerns proactively.
Assertiveness: Lead with a bias for action and drive with a solution-oriented mindset.
Share a story with me when you do it and tell me how it goes. I’d like to showcase your experience in an upcoming edition of Execs and the City.
Stay fearless, friends.
See you next week.
